Cook Hotel Indigo Hattiesburg- Brass Hat Brass Hat is reopening, and we are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in August. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Benefits:

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards.
• Ensure the quality of food meets the highest standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food production.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures

Skills

• Experience in a dietary department or similar setting is preferred.
• Proficient in knife skills and various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food service operations and catering practices.
• Strong understanding of food handling, safety, and preparation techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus
