We are currently seeking a qualified Environmental Analyst to work in our Rochester office in our Environmental Division with the Permitting and Compliance department. The Environmental Analyst will be required to assist with GIS mapping related to wetland delineation, protected species habitat surveys, invasive species, environmental permits (approximately 50% of time) and assist as needed with technical writing, field work, and stormwater inspections (approximately 50% of time).

Duties
Preparing maps and figures in ArcGIS Pro for a wide variety of projects within the permitting field. Proper data management and organization is required.
Have a working knowledge in state and federal regulations in regard to wetlands, species, stormwater, and permits.
Participating in fieldwork for jurisdictional wetland surveys and Waters of the US, which would include assistance with plant identifications, soil analysis, and identification of hydrological characteristics.
Preparing wetland delineation reports summarizing field findings for soil type, vegetation, and hydrological characteristics.
Participating in fieldwork for protected species surveys.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
