Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler in Brownsville, PA

Job Description

Join a dynamic team working the daylight shift from 7am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. In this role, you'll operate a forklift daily and use Excel to track incoming and outgoing parts. This position requires handling various items, including team lifting and transporting goods up and down stairs. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious and an effective team player.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from trucks safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to lift and carry heavy or bulky items.
• Navigate stairs and tight spaces while transporting items.
• Ensure items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Follow safety protocols and use proper lifting techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable with physical labor and working on stairs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labor or warehouse work is a plus.
• Steel-toe boots are required for safety on the job.
• Must wear appropriate safety gear (e.g., gloves, steel-toe boots).

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring both indoor and outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions. The role is based in a large warehouse where you will operate a forklift. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 4/4:30pm, with the possibility of overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brownsville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
