Salary: $105,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a current Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

• We prefer 1 to 2 years of help desk experience.
• We prefer strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• We prefer a CompTIA A+ certification, and the selected candidate must earn A+ within six months of starting.
• We prefer Information Assurance Tech 2 and Security+ credentials.

• We require the ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL, at Redstone Arsenal and be immediately available.

• We provide end-user support, respond to service requests, and handle ticket resolution and escalation for applications and shared platforms.
• We answer user questions and help resolve a variety of IT issues.
• We troubleshoot hardware and software problems for desktops, laptops, portable devices, printers, scanners, plotters, and related equipment.
• We support customers by phone and through our automated service desk system.
• We guide users through troubleshooting steps to identify and correct technical problems.
• We deliver technical direction for the installation, operation, and maintenance of government hardware and software.
• We receive, log, route, resolve, and track trouble calls, including follow-up reporting.
• We provide hands-on technical assistance with specialized computer equipment.
• We prepare service desk reports and metrics such as call volume, issue types, resolution timelines, and trend data to support government management.
• We maintain proficiency in the hardware and software used in the government environment.
