About the Role

 

Illuminated Integration is looking for a Low Voltage Technician to support the installation of commercial technology systems, including security and audio/visual systems, structured cabling, and related low-voltage infrastructure.

This is a field-based position working on schools, higher education, corporate facilities, performance venues, and other commercial environments.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Install, pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
  • Assist with installation of access control systems, CCTV / video surveillance, and AV & lighting systems
  • Mount devices such as cameras, readers, speakers, displays, racks, and enclosures
  • Label, dress, and document cabling to company standards
  • Read drawings, plans, and scopes of work
  • Work alongside engineers, project managers, and other trades
  • Maintain clean, professional job sites
  • Support testing, checkout, and basic troubleshooting

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-3+ years of experience in low-voltage or commercial technology installation
  • Familiarity with low-voltage cabling, basic terminations and testing, and commercial job site environments
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and active job sites

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with access control or CCTV systems
  • AV installation experience
  • OSHA 10/30, lift certifications
  • Network fundamentals (PoE, IP basics)
  • Manufacturer or industry certifications
