The Position
Under the general supervision of the Protector of Culture in the Stewardship and Territorial Land Management Division, the Museum Assistant provides support to the department. The Assistant will work in the museum to educate visitors about the shíshálh Nation's history, participate in curation activities, and archive materials.
This is a full-time term position with hours of work adjusted for two seasonal periods: Peak Season (June 1 to September 30), Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Off Season (October 1 to May 31), Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This position is through May 31, 2027, with the possibility of an extension.
