Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Contract

Location: Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shift (exact start and end times to be confirmed with recruiter)

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training to help them regain strength and independence
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients on prescribed exercises and safety techniques to support their recovery at home
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to deliver compassionate, quality care
• Keep accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Oklahoma PTA license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Previous rehabilitation experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative setting

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid grasp of therapeutic exercise principles and functional mobility training
• Ability to monitor and document patient progress
• Knowledge of rehabilitation practices and clinical documentation standards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach
• Time management and adaptability in a dynamic rehab environment
