Responsibilities
- Process and preflight digital files using industry-standard software to ensure all technical specifications are met.
- Configure complex page impositions, including pagination and plate breaks, for efficient web press layouts.
- Manage the end-to-end output workflow by releasing jobs through RIP systems and generating PDF proofs.
- Perform rigorous quality control audits to verify color accuracy, resolution, and adherence to print specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues ranging from RIP errors to font and color anomalies.
- Coordinate with editorial, advertising, and pressroom teams to ensure seamless plate sequencing and deadline compliance.
- Maintain critical production assets, including ICC profiles, imposition templates, and organized digital archives.
