Design Engineer

Our mission at New Gen is to unlock agentic commerce. We work with the best brands to build the most intelligent commerce agents in the world. We believe all websites and interfaces will eventually incorporate an intelligence layer, and New Gen aims to provide that layer, making the internet dynamic and adaptive to users.

We’re building a small team of exceptional designers and engineers that are excited about building the future of websites and internet commerce. We’re looking for a design engineer/product designer that knows the bar for a great product, and has the technical abilities to roll up their sleeves with engineers to build towards it.

You’re a great fit if you

• Are a full stack product designer with at least 5 years of experience and proficient in visual design, interaction design and product thinking
• Are comfortable leading design and are passionate about establishing a design culture from the ground floor
• Love to prototype and have a deep understanding of how front end software is built
• Care deeply about building high quality user experiences and are excited about the practical challenges of implementing AI products
• Want to join a high growth, fast paced team and are based in San Francisco (or willing to occasionally hop on a plane if not in SF)
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and bias toward action
