What To Expect

We’re looking for a reliable and organized Purchasing Coordinator to support our automation team at Tesla Elgin. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and tracking components and services needed to build custom automation equipment. Your work will help ensure projects stay on schedule and suppliers deliver quality materials on time.

Shift: 08:30AM - 5:00PM; Monday - Friday. Hours may need to be flexible depending on the needs of the business.

What You'll Do

• Request and compare quotes, and confirm pricing and terms with suppliers
• Source materials, parts, and services needed for automation projects
• Create and manage purchase orders through to delivery
• Work with suppliers to resolve billing and payment issues
• Partner with engineering, production, and logistics teams to meet project needs

What You'll Bring

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data entry
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
