Job Title: Business Analyst Murex

Location: Remote Canada

Duration: 12 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with deep Murex experience to join a high-impact project in credit risk and collateral management for a major investment banking client. You'll ensure alignment between trading, risk, and operations, helping deliver complex multi-workstream implementations.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze, document, and validate business requirements for Murex MX.3 implementations.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery across the project roadmap.
• Support end-to-end delivery of Murex modules: Credit Risk, Collateral Management, and Risk Analytics.
• Facilitate workshops, UAT, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring system configurations meet requirements.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance (Basel II/III, SA-CCR) and risk metrics (PFE, CVA, DVA, FVA).
• Bring Murex subject matter expertise to optimize workflows, integrations, and delivery efficiency.

What You Bring:

• 10 12 years of experience in Murex MX.3, including implementation and configuration.
• Proven track record in complex investment banking projects with multi-workstream exposure.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, CVA, collateral management, and derivatives operations.
• Experience collaborating across trading, risk, and operations teams.
• Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks and risk metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, contract-based environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Murex MXpress accelerated implementation approach.
• Exposure to risk system integration or trade lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
