Job Overview

Flexx Workforce is currently hiring an experienced   Structural Fitter   for upcoming industrial and marine projects. This role is focused on   fitting structural steel components  — not pipe. We are looking for dependable tradesmen with experience in   shipyards, fabrication shops, or heavy industrial environments .

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications
  
• Measure, layout, and fit structural steel components
  
• Assemble beams, plates, and structural assemblies to spec
  
• Tack weld components for final welding
  
• Use grinders, torches, hand tools, and measuring instruments
  
• Work alongside welders and other trades
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
• Follow all job site safety standards and procedures
  

Requirements

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of   structural fitting experience  (NOT pipe fitting)
  
• Strong blueprint reading skills (structural drawings)
  
• Experience in shipyard, fabrication shop, or industrial setting preferred
  
• Ability to pass:
  
• Drug screening
  
• Background check (if required)
  
• Physical / fit-for-duty screening
  
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  
• Reliable transportation
  

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50+ lbs regularly
  
• Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces
  
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
